Sweet Potato Pancakes

1 1/2 C flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
pinch of cloves
1 1/4 cup mashed sweet potatoes
2 eggs
1 1/2 c milk
1/4 c oil

Use your very best Miriam-imagination for the rest (cook pancakes in well-oiled pan until golden orange; take liberties with the recipe - add chocolate chips, walnuts, etc)
